Earn by answering surveys through Mobrog

Hello, everyone! This post is about one of the things I do to earn online. There are so many ways you can earn online and one of which is by answering surveys. It's not big money but you're not going to put much effort anyway. You earn by simply answering simple surveys and will only consume like 10 minutes of your time.  I've tried a lot of survey sites and apps before but there is one that I highly recommend and that is... MOBROG. See bottom left. That's how the icon of Mobrog looks like. According to what is posted in their website, "MOBROG  is a service provided by SPLENDID RESEARCH GmbH that allows individuals to register as participants for online-surveys - free of charge and without any obligation. ... You can participate in some of the surveys immediately, via an online questionnaire or the mobile phone app." I downloaded the app in 2017 and started answering surveys. The earnings that I got from each of the survey differs. There are su

Why you should join the Philippine Red Cross membership program?

I was supposed to write about this last month but I waited for the cards to arrive and I also got busy with work. Finally have the time to write about this! Last month, our local Red Cross went to our work place and offered us membership to their program/organization. I immediately applied for it since I like the benefits that goes along with it. I was also able to apply for my daughter so she gets the same benefit as mine.  There are many types of membership. I applied for the Classic membership for my daughter who is 5 years old (Classic is for students only) for an annual fee of P60.00 only and Premier Bronze   for myself for an annual fee of P150.00. Yes, that's how cheap it is! Our membership has accidental, disablement, and dismemberment benefits, burial benefit, and hospital daily allowance as you can see on the photo below. Some of you might say, it's just waste of money. I see it differently. It's actually preparing for something you are not pre

Make your Money grow through Mutual Funds

In my previous post, I talked about why I got a Critical Illness Plan   and why you should too. A Critical Illness Plan is something that would protect you, your family, and your investments if in case you get critically ill.  This time, I'll be talking about another investment that, instead of giving you health or life coverage, it will help you grow your money. Everybody is talking about inflation and we always get angry when prices go up and high. We all know that before, you can already buy a lot with just P100.00 but now, it is not even enough for a one-day meal. This is because we are not taught on how to manage our money and invest wisely. What we know is that when prices go up and taxes go high, it would affect us in one way or another. So, how do we really grow our money? There are many ways and I would love to talk about all of them but for this blogpost, I will only talk about one way of growing our money. First, we must remember these 3 reminders from bill

Why you should get a Critical Illness plan?

On my previous blogpost , I talked about being financially free .   In that post, I talked about why we should start making our way to financial freedom. One of the reasons is to avoid going into debts and selling our properties when we get sick. We all know that healthcare is very expensive, especially for critical illness like cancer, etc.  With our environment and the kind of food that we have nowadays, plus our exposure to radiation, it is inevitable to get sick someday, somehow. So, what we really need to do it is to prepare for it.  How do we prepare when that time comes? There are two choices but these two are equally important. One is getting a basic  health insurance and other is getting a Critical Illness Plan.  I'll be focusing more on the latter.  Last year, an insurance/investment agent who happens to be a friend of my husband invited is in their office so he can propose an investment plan for us. So, we went there and we were assessed. The first thing they as

Be Financially Free.

I was not a believer of insurance. I was not into investing. I did not know about mutual funds or VULs.  My mindset changed when a co-teacher of mine a couple of years back was diagnosed with cancer and we all knew that it was a difficult time for her, physically and more importantly, financially. Hearing her experiences with the costs of hospitalization and medicines made me rethink on how I could prepare for the future. You know, when a family member gets sick, we don't have choice but to spend lots of money to pay for healthcare bills. There are even those who would sell their properties just to pay for it. Some would go into debts. They get stressed and they get sick. It's a cycle.  So, I did my research and I learned about this so-called "Financial Freedom"  and it does not only take a simple savings account so you can say you are financially free. According to Cash Cow Couple   (one of the blogs I read when it comes to topics like this),  " Being fr

Why create this blog?

Hi, guys! Welcome to my 3rd blog!  Let me introduce myself first. I am Roxanne Fuentes, a teacher, entrepreneur, and a homemaker. I am also the blogger behind the education blog,  The Public School Teacher    and the lifestyle blog, The Kagay-anon! .  Why did I create a 3rd blog? Because I want to share what I do as a Provident mom. Provident means " making or indicative of timely preparation for the future."   For me, this also means helping prepare for the future of my child and soon to be children. That includes making investments, getting insurances, instilling good values, and taking care of the environment. That also means become a role model not just to my child and to my pupils but also to other moms and homemakers like me.
